Family Assistance Plan Guaranteed Income

The Family Assistance Plan, proposed by Richard Nixon and passed twice by the House of Representatives in the early 1970s, offered a family of 4 with no other income a maximum of $1600 per year.

The first time The Family Assistance Plan passed the House of Representatives was April 1970. $1600 in April 1970 is equivalent to $13,927 in May 2026, or $268/week as of .

C4SI aims to implement a Guaranteed Income that matches that passed by the House of Representative over 56 years ago.

A $268/week Guaranteed Income would be funded by $268K in the C4SI Investment Pool. That's our goal. It could be funded by one generous and benevolent capitalist, or 2,680 of us donating $100.
